Possible Solutions

Sports agents have grown to become a detriment to the game of college football. With the recent outbreaks over the summer and spilling into this season, it doesn't take much to see how big of an epidemic it has become. There are multiple solutions that have been brought to the table to try to control these agents and their actions. One proposed option is for the college coaches to ban pro scouts from their campus, a rule which Alabama head coach, Nick Saban, has actually imposed this season. Another solution would be for the NFL Players Association to get involved by revoking agents' licenses. This problem could also be controlled by the law getting involved in an effort to instill regulation of sports agents with federal law. Not all agents are corrupt, so we have to be careful not to group every one into that category. Players do need to be held accountable for their actions, but so do the agents.
