During my time in this class, I would like to learn more about the evolving relationship between technology and the English world: how the basic concepts of reading and writing can be transformed into even more effective and compelling tools of communication using the dynamic technological advances of the 21st century. As for my strengths, I have the potential to be a commanding writer and I've gained an immense amount of knowledge and practice during my time in AP Language & Composition last year. I do, however, struggle with writers block quite frequently (pushing through that wall) and I often find it difficult to "write on the spot" because of my obsessive perfectionism. I have found this to greatly hinder my writing ability, as I do not always find it to be a pleasant medium of expression. I would also like to work on the confidence I have in my own writing.
