Start off playing pee-wee football. Become the star of your high school's team. Get offered a scholarship to play at a major university. Get drafted into the NFL. Make as much money as you can. Retire. This is the path that many young boys dream of, but few actually have the chance to take. So, when the opportunity arises, most players will do anything to get there. When financial representatives and agents throw money and lavish gifts at them, they automatically begin to feel an ego-boost, relishing in the idea that they have these people eating out of the palm of their hand. Sports agency has essentially transformed into one huge black market. Agents are out of control simply because they have no fear of being hit hard by sanctions like the players. They are at free will to offer anything to these young athletes to sway them to sign with their agency. It's a dirty business that will continue to be at the forefront of heated controversy if some type of controls/regulations aren't placed on these agencies soon.
Hey I really like your topic. In this blog I liked how you put the goal of a kid, it is very true and really backed up what you were trying to say.
